Iran Sets 'Ablaze' Al-Adireh Camp & Al-Salim Base; Kamikaze Drones 'Destroy' US Camp In Kuwait
Iran has claimed responsibility for a new wave of drone strikes targeting U.S. military bases in Kuwait, saying Camp Al-Adireh and Ali Al Salem Air Base were hit as part of the 16th phase of Operation Thunderbolt. According to Iranian state media, the attacks targeted an ammunition depot as well as Patriot missile-defense systems and air-defense radars. Meanwhile, Kuwaiti authorities accused Iran of also striking critical civilian infrastructure, including a power generation and water desalination plant and an oil facility. Kuwait reported injuries, significant material damage, and temporarily closed its airspace as missile and drone threats intensified. Bahrain also said it intercepted Iranian missiles and drones.
