OpenAI CEO Sam Altman Sister Fighting 'Unrestricted' Medical Exam ... After Childhood Abuse Claims

Sam Altman and his sister are going back and forth in court over her submitting to a medical examination over her claims of childhood abuse ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, Ann Altman is opposing the upcoming exam scheduled for August 26, claiming the conditions and scope of the exam were disclosed less than a week beforehand.

She said she never agreed to talk about anything other than her claims of suffering from PTSD, but says the doctor set to examine her is planning to assess "any mental disorder."

Ann claims the physician plans to "cast a wide net and intrusively attempt to profile the entirety” of her mental health ... even including matters that she insists are unrelated to the issues in the case.

Sam claimed the doctor had every right to grill Ann about her childhood abuse claims … saying she put her mental health and condition at issue in this suit by claiming she suffered psychological injuries due to his alleged abuse.

The filing says the tech CEO believes Ann's allegations make an "unrestricted" clinical psychiatric interview warranted.

As TMZ previously reported, Sam denied all claims he abused Ann when they were young. He claimed his family members defended him against the accusations.

Sam countersued Ann for defamation but is only seeking $1 in damages.
