You Might've Missed Kaia Gerber and Lewis Pullman's Date Night at Vanity Fair Oscars Party

Hollywood’s biggest stars were out in droves for the 2026 Academy Awards, but Kaia Gerber and Lewis Pullman only had eyes for each other.

The couple—who were first romantically linked in January 2025—enjoyed a lowkey date night at Vanity Fair’s annual Oscars after-party March 15, walking the gray carpet separately before making their way inside the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).

But Kaia, 24, and Lewis, 33, appeared to reunite inside the venue, eventually leaving the event hand-in-hand.

Earlier in the evening, the Bottoms actress—who stunned in a red strapless floor-length gown by Givenchy—arrived with pal Cory Michael Smith, who wore an all-black tuxedo.

As for Lewis, who presented at the Oscars with dad Bill Pullman, he traded the classic tux he donned as they handed out the Best Editing Oscar to One Battle After Another’s Andy Jurgensen for an eye-catching after-party ensemble. The Top Gun: Maverick star donned a Saint Laurent look consisting of a black-and-white striped shirt, dark pinstriped pants and sunglasses, making a fashion statement with a brick red scarf tie.

Back in October, Kaia—who previously dated Austin Butler, Pete Davidson and this year’s Best Supporting Actor nominee Jacob Elordi—offered insight into her relationship with Lewis, noting that their romantic connection blossomed out of an initial friendship.

“I really feel like if you have the opportunity to date a friend, do it, because it is so much better,” Kaia said during an appearance on Jake Shane's Therapuss podcast at the time. “I would never want to fight with my friends. I never want to be mad at my friends. I respect my friends. It is a whole other thing.”

“Sometimes,” she added, “you forget that you like someone when you love them.”

And their pairing certainly seems to have had a positive impact on Kaia, who added, “A lot is being healed in this relationship.”
